The Shark Is Broken

May 28 - June 21
By Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon

“The Shark Is Broken” is not a complete documentary, but it is rooted in the true stories and experiences of the filming of “Jaws”. The play explores the behind-the-scenes drama, tensions, and conflicts between the actors, particularly Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Scheider, during the challenging production. While some dramatic liberties are taken, the play is considered “spiritually true” to the events and atmosphere of that time.

This play contains strong language and if it were a film, it would be rated for mature audiences.
