CTP Kids

CTP Kids/Ninos Bilingual Program (founded in 2020) grew from our desire to provide access to the arts for younger members of our community who are underrepresented in live theatre. We began reading stories in Spanish and English and having mini shows where children acted out the stories. As the program grew, we added more production elements and education. We look forward to continuing to expand the experiences and reach of this program. We encourage you to join us for a unique and fun-filled experience.

Featured Artist for My Fair Lady:
Claire Duncan - June 12 - July 6

Claire’s work responds to questions about what it means to be human during a time when our own actions threaten the very nature that inspires us. The creatures that inhabit her paintings appear to bear witness to the after-effects of human impact and give silent judgment. For Claire, ideas rarely come to her separately. She sees the world from multiple views. Sometimes, one idea balances another. Other times, a view will focus another into sharp contrast. As she describes, the eye doesn’t always settle whether it be dark and light, soft and sharp, or near and far. While working with a narrative that explores nature and human impact, soothing and alarming emotions collide, alongside thoughts that are both beautiful and disturbing. Diptychs have been Claire’s way of dealing with this order for several years now. Through her paintings, she invites her viewers to appreciate nature’s splendor while also confronting the challenges that nature faces.
