CTP Kids

CTP Kids/Ninos Bilingual Program (founded in 2020) grew from our desire to provide access to the arts for younger members of our community who are underrepresented in live theatre. We began reading stories in Spanish and English and having mini shows where children acted out the stories. As the program grew, we added more production elements and education. We look forward to continuing to expand the experiences and reach of this program. We encourage you to join us for a unique and fun-filled experience.

The Collier Gallery at CTP (Collaborative Theatre Project) is thrilled to announce its new exhibition, curated by Martin Steele, featuring work by Tara-Jenelle Walsch. Tara-Jenelle’s studio is filled with lots of different brushes and tools. However, her favorite thing to do is paint with her hands. There is something meaningful about applying paint directly from her hands to the canvas, and she describes that it’s like an energy exchange between her and the expression being revealed. Tara-Jenelle loves to incorporate layers of water and drips in her paintings, using the natural fall of rainwater directly on the canvas, when possible. She emphasizes how fascinating it is to observe how the rain takes the paint on its own journey, all while infusing the canvas with nature’s energy. For Tara-Jenelle, co-creating with nature’s elements like this is almost like painting with a friend.
